Meet Colin Greene – Owner, Personal Trainer & Health Coach
Hi, I’m Colin Greene, owner of Green Wave Fitness. While I’m not 40 yet, I’ve spent years training, recovering from injuries, and optimizing performance—experiences that have given me a deep understanding of how to build strength, mobility, and resilience at any age. Beyond my own journey, I’ve learned from the experiences of countless clients—observing what works, what doesn’t, and how different bodies respond to training over time. My mission is to help adults 40+ regain confidence, move freely, and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle—benefiting from lessons learned both personally and professionally, from acute and chronic injuries, recovery, and consistent training.
I’ve worked with clients of all fitness levels, focusing on strength, endurance, flexibility, posture, and functional movement. Helping clients improve posture and joint health is one of my favorite parts of training, because it not only enhances appearance but also reduces pain, improves daily movement, and supports long-term health.
My Philosophy
Fitness isn’t about pushing through pain or chasing unrealistic goals—it’s about listening to your body, respecting your limits, and building strength at a pace that works for you.
Even though I’m younger than 40, I’ve gained firsthand experience with both acute injuries that heal quickly and chronic issues that persist over time. Coupled with insights from clients’ experiences, this knowledge allows me to design programs that protect joints, restore mobility, and improve functional strength, helping adults 40+ maintain independence and confidence in daily life.
I believe every challenge—whether it’s a stiff joint, nagging ache, or mental block—is an opportunity to grow stronger, move freer, and take control of your health. Together, we adapt workouts to fit your unique body and lifestyle, helping you reclaim confidence, enjoy daily movement, and live fully without fear or frustration.
A Bit About Me
I’ve been passionate about fitness and sports since age 12, training in football, wrestling, tennis, and more. Over the years, I’ve earned multiple awards and developed a deep understanding of physical performance, injury prevention, and healthy living.
Having spent years learning from injuries, investing time to optimize performance, and observing clients’ journeys, I bring practical knowledge and strategies that help adults 40+ stay strong, mobile, and independent, even if challenges have slowed progress in the past.
Outside of training, I enjoy spending time outdoors and diving into a good book, always looking for ways to balance movement, recovery, and lifelong wellness.
