Getting started with Green Wave Fitness is straightforward. I take care of the planning and coaching so you can focus on moving better, building strength, and staying consistent.

We begin with a free online consultation to discuss your goals, fitness history, lifestyle, and any injuries or limitations.
I’ll also review your available home space and equipment, and explain what I can bring to make training effective and seamless.


2️⃣ Complete Your Fitness Assessment

Before training begins, I complete a movement-based fitness assessment to understand how your body moves.
This ensures your program is safe, joint-friendly, and tailored to your current ability and goals.


3️⃣ Begin Personalized Training Sessions

In-Home Personal Training (Ottawa Area)

⏱ 30-Minute In-Home Sessions
Designed for efficiency and consistency. These sessions focus on key movements, strength fundamentals, and mobility without overwhelming your schedule.
Ideal if you:

  • Have limited time

  • Are new to training or returning after time off

  • Want focused, high-quality coaching in a shorter format

⌛ 1-Hour In-Home Sessions
Offer a more comprehensive training experience. These sessions allow time for warm-up, strength work, mobility, posture, conditioning, and coaching detail.
Ideal if you:

  • Want deeper coaching and progression

  • Are managing movement limitations or past injuries

  • Prefer a more complete, unrushed session


Hybrid Training (In-Home + Online)

Hybrid training combines in-home sessions for hands-on coaching with online sessions for accountability and consistency between visits.

This option works well if you:

  • Want professional guidance in person, but fewer in-home visits

  • Travel or have a variable schedule

  • Prefer flexibility while maintaining structure

Session length can be 30 minutes or 1 hour, depending on your plan.


Online Training (Canada-Wide)

Online training is delivered through live, one-on-one video sessions.
While hands-on cues aren’t possible, sessions still focus on proper technique, progression, and coaching using your available space and equipment.

Best suited for clients who:

  • Prefer training from home without in-person visits

  • Live outside the Ottawa area

  • Want structure, accountability, and expert guidance remotely

Online sessions are available in 30-minute or 1-hour formats.

After your Free Getting Started Call, if we both feel training is a good fit, the next step is your Initial Assessment & Orientation Session.

This first coached session can be completed either in-home or online and is scheduled for a future date that fits your availability and comfort level.

The focus is not intensity or performance. The goal is to better understand how your body moves, what currently feels challenging, and what type of training approach fits your lifestyle best.

During this session we focus on:

• movement and posture assessment
• mobility and comfort level
• strength and stability foundations

• coaching guidance and exercise technique
• realistic next steps and progression
• choosing the right session structure

You’ll also choose:
• 30- or 45-minute session format
• in-home or online coaching option

The goal is to create a realistic starting point that feels structured, supportive, and sustainable long term.
